Collared Sunbird

Anthreptes collaris
Smaller than the previous species. The male has shiny bright green upperparts, very narrow purple collar and shorter, slimmer beak are other distinguishing features. Female is similar to the male but lacks the blue and green on throat. Not as common as the Yellowbellied Sunbird. Frequently joins bird parties, especially with Yellow White Eyes and Tinker Barbets. Often found around Crimsonwing Cottage on the edge of the forest.
